My new EP, “Here I Am” has finally landed in digital stores! You can find it on iTunes, Amazon.com, and you can listen to it for free right here on my website. Please spread the good news to your family and friends by using the “share” options below.
I’d like to send a special “thank you” to Ricardo Pujol. He put the polish on this EP with his masterful sound engineering and production skills. I recorded all of these tracks with my extremely humble home-studio setup, and he made it sound like a professional studio production. I am forever grateful for his incredible services and his friendship.
I’d also like to thank my friends and family for encouraging me throughout the process of writing and recording this album. I’m so lucky to have you all in my life, and I appreciate your undying support.
This EP means a lot to me, as it is a straightforward auto-biography of the last few years. I’ve experienced a lot of changes, and I’ve done a lot of reflecting, and that’s what “Here I Am” is all about. Its a bit of a different direction from the debut demo, taking on a more synth-pop sound on songs like “Oh” and “Holding On”. I included a couple stripped-down piano ballads as well. Piano has always been such a soothing instrument for me, and I found that I really connected with it during the writing of this EP.
I hope you enjoy. Be sure to let me know what you think of it by leaving a comment.
Love, Ryli <3

A big thanks to Muzic Dizcovery for their review regarding my vocals in Invisible Elephant‘s album, Anomie Or Swimming In A Black Sea. I provided vocals for two songs on the album, entitled “Wish” and “Everything”. Muzic Dizcovery says, “…her voice also excretes a delicate warmth which lifts her contributions from mere pleasantries to moments of true beauty.”

As you all know, I worked hard this summer to produce a 6-song EP entitled “Here I Am”. Its not to be released on radio stations or in digital stores until October 21st, 2011. However, to thank Deuce Management and Promotion for all of their help promoting my music and providing me great opportunities, I decided to exclusively release the first song on my new EP, “Oh”, on their radio show. You can listen to the radio show with the player above.

This morning, I was thinking that it had been quite a while since I’ve posted a video. In response, I recorded a quick video in my halfway-finished home studio. This is a rough draft of the song “Forgive You” which will appear on my new album “Here I Am”, which you can expect to hear within the next month.

May is Mental Illness Awareness Month
and I wanted to take the opportunity to increase awareness of teen depression and the fact that it often leads to suicide attempts.
