About Ryli

Ryli is a self-taught, multi-talented musician who composes and records her own music. She spent her teenage years playing in various punk and rock ‘n roll bands before taking off to travel Mexico at age 19 with little more than her acoustic guitar. During her travels, she began writing solo music for the first time. Later, she spent time in several U.S. cities before eventually taking a job offer and moving to the province of Asturias, in northern Spain. After settling in, she set herself up with an amateur home-recording studio and has been producing recordings regularly ever since.

She released her first EP, entitled The Demo, on her birthday: April 12th, 2010. The songs on this EP have often been labeled as dreampop, light shoegaze, and post-rock and have been extremely well-received by her vast and rapidly growing fan base.

Ryli continues to write new music, improve her recording techniques and evolve her sound. She just finished her new EP entitled “Here I Am”, which will be released on Friday, October 21st, 2011. The new EP can be pre-ordered here.
